The Workshop FASdiff17 (Formal and Analytic Solutions of Diff.  (differential, partial differential, difference, q-difference, q-difference-differential,…) Equations, was held in Alcalá de Henares (Spain) from September 4th to 8th. It aimed to bring together experts in the field of formal and analytic solutions of functional equations, such as differential, partial differential, difference, q-difference, q-difference-differential equations.

This meeting was expected to be an opportunity for the exchange of recent results in the field and to exhibit different possible directions of future research. One of its main objectives was to promote both new and existing scientific collaborations of the researchers in these topics.

The conference venue was the School of Architecture of the University of Alcalá, located at the city center:
