 From Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport

Take a taxi from the airport to Alcalá de Henares. The journey takes about 25 minutes and the fare is approximately 35.00-40.00 €. There are taxis distributed in all terminals (T1,T2,T3 and T4). More information is available in the webpage of the airport following this link.

Take line 8 from terminal T4 or terminals T1, T2 and T3 from Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport, to Nuevos Ministerios (schedules of this line are also available in the previous link). Then follow the signs for Cercanías (local trains) cercanias_logo-svg. After purchasing your ticket from the ticket office or a machine, look for the platform for line C7, which ends in Alcalá de Henares (schedules and stops for the round trip are available here to go to Alcalá and here to return to the airport), or line C2, which ends in Guadalajara (schedules and stops for the round trip are available here to go to Alcalá and here to return to the airport). Get off at “Alcalá de Henares” station.

The journey from Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport to Alcalá de Henares station takes around 1 hour 30 minutes and costs 4.50 € (underground) plus 3,40 € (train).

Line C1 (schedules and stops are available here and here) connects Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport terminal T4 with the centre of Madrid (there is a shuttle bus connecting all terminals of the airport). To get to Alcalá de Henares, take this line and get off at “Chamartín”, “Nuevos Ministerios”, “Recoletos” or “Atocha”, where you can change to lines C2 or C7. Get off at “Alcalá de Henares” station. The journey from the airport to Atocha takes around 27 minutes. The ticket costs 2.60 € plus 3.40 € from Atocha to Alcalá de Henares.

  •   By bus  bus  

Take bus number 824 from airport terminals T1 and T2 (there is a shuttle bus connecting all terminals of the airport). The schedules and stops for the round trip are available here to go to Alcalá and here to return to the airport. Get off the bus in “Brihuega” in Alcalá de Henares, which is located in the city centre. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and the ticket price is 3.60 €.

There are buses every 40 minutes from Mon-Fri between 6.40 and 22.00.

The following link shows the ten minutes walk from Brihuega street to the conference venue passing through Residencia San Ildefonso located in Plaza de San Diego.

There is also an Express Bus Service from terminals T1, T2 and T4 to the centre of Madrid. The last stop is “Atocha”, from where you can take a local train (Cercanías, lines C2 and C7) to Alcalá de Henares. The schedules for the  round trip of the express bus service are here and here. The bus ticket costs 5 €.

From Madrid

Take the A-2  highway to Zaragoza. Leave the road at exit 23 following the signs to Alcalá de Henares (Oeste). The journey takes around 30 minutes.

From Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Recoletos and Atocha railway stations, follow the signs to Cercanías (local trains). After purchasing your ticket, look for line C7 to Alcalá de Henares or C2 to Guadalajara. Check the final destination as well as the number of the line. Get off at “Alcalá de Henares”. The journey takes about 50 minutes and the ticket costs 3.40 €.

  •   By bus  bus

Take bus number 223 from Intercambiador in Avenida de América (Avenida de América underground station), which has departures every 10-15 minutes. Get off the bus in Brihuega. The following link shows the ten minutes walk from Brihuega street to the conference venue passing through Residencia San Ildefonso located in Plaza de San Diego.

The journey takes about 40 minutes and the ticket price is 3.40 €.
